After ten years of making low budget shorts and features (in 2007 I self-funded a $100K feature rom-com) I'm trying to get to the next level. To quote a line from GET SHORTY, "Black Lotus is my 'Driving Miss Daisy.'"
I'm trying to raise $10k to shoot a 7-min short film to demonstrate the look and feel of the feature. It's kind of like what Alive in Joburg did for District 9.
