Black Scar Blues - my first feature

Hi everyone,

My name is Leroy and I'm new to the forum. I just wanted to share with you guys my first feature film, Black Scar Blues. It's a gangster action movie with a neo-noir tone. It took us six years to finish this bad boy, but after a festival run, we were lucky enough to get distribution. It was really my first time for almost everything here except for making the actual movie.

Anyways, I'd love to hear what you guys think. Below you'll find links for the film, a trailer, and a few clips.

Black Scar Blues (the whole film)

Thanks!

Congratulations! 6 years must have been a journey and a half.
What's your next project?

Thank you!

The journey was EXHAUSTING, and I don't know how many times I felt like just leaving it alone.

We've just wrapped up on a short film called BENNY THE BRUISER. I'm thinking I may want to leave the whole feature film thing alone for a little bit. I'll tell you, I've learned so much throughout the course of this one production. It's crazy.

I bet... 6 years is a long time to study any subject even if it is learning on the job.
Best of luck on your future endeavors Leroy!
