What are the notable differences between a Samyang NAF 35mm T1.5 AS UMC VDSLR II and a Nikkor AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm F1.8G?
I'm considering getting one or two primes to replace the terrible kit lens which came on my d3100. I'm running on a very low budget. It's not fixed but I'd like to keep the lenses at about 500€ maybe even less, and considering that I need multiple lenses paying over 500€ for ONE lens is a lot. Is there anything that would justify buying the samyang over the nikkor in this case? I know the samyang has a slightly better focus ring and that you can adjust the exposure manually but otherwise the specs look quite similar. But I know lenses can't really be compared like that which is why I'm asking someone with experience if there's something I have completely missed.
I'd rather go with the Nikkor lens as I can get two of them for the price of one samyang.
