First Impressions w/ Cards

Heyy!

My Digital Literacy teacher has pointed out the important to the class to have quality "modern" business cards on us at all times... So when we network we don't have to take our phones out and exchange information informally, but to exchange cards and handle inputting the information to our contacts after events.

Sooo.... all in all... I need opinion on which of these looks better....? XD

Number 1:

Number 2:

Number 3? Think it'd look better another way? Let me know.

While we're at it, why not show what you use as well?

My initial gut reaction is Number 1. The reason I think my brain "feels better" about Number 1 is that it appears as though those arrows are light sources and they are illuminating the background. That also gives the card a more "open" feeling when seen side by side with Number 2.

Following that logic or reasoning, the "illumination" in Number 2 looks "wrong," at least having seen it side by side with Number 1. So it has a discomfiting feel.

It also seems to me that Number 1 is just more aesthetically pleasing. The illumination in the upper left corner of Number 2 almost reminds me of a blown-out highlight or an unwanted reflection or something.
