The Great Martin Scorsese - Happy Birthday

Novemeber 17, 2003, marks Martin Scorsese's 61st. In my eyes, he is one of the greatest directors ever. I would just like to say Happy Birthday to him and thank him for the great films that he has given us. My personal favorites are Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, and Gangs of New York.

Post up your favorite Scorses films as well as wish him a Happy Birthday.

I know everyone is gonna hate me for this, but I feel Scorcese is overrated. Maybe it is because everyone tells me that his movies are sooooooooooooooooooooo effin' great, and then I see 'em and they ain't that great. :roll: Don't get me wrong. He's no Brett Ratner (craptastic director of Red Dragon, The Family Man, and the superly duperly overrated Rush Hour movies.), but he's no Speilberg (if you don't know who he is, you are on the wrong site) either. I appreciate all that Marty has done for cinema, but I don't worship at his altar.
