I am putting together this film project that is going to require a significant amount of money to produce (roughly $160MM). The biggest concern I ultimately have is getting this screenplay produced into a feature length film for worldwide viewing. Secondly, among my concerns is control of the project, hiring of directors, cinematographers, etc... .
The way I plan on raising the money for this unique film is through sponsorships and charitable donations. My question is can ancillary rights be put into a TRUST and can percentages be assigned to beneficiaries depending on the amounts donated to the project?
As I stated, my ultimate goal is get this screenplay produced into a feature length film for worldwide viewing with full control of the project from start to finish. I appreciate any input, suggestions, advise or comments that you may have.
