Q&A after your screenings proves helpful.

I would suggest that everyone hold a Q&A after the screening of their movie. I got tons of feedback by doing this, this past weekend. I was put in touch with my audience and I found that my film is really hitting a cord with people. Armed with this new info, we're tweaking the marketing and having another go at it. This entire process is very interesting to me.

Yes you can learn alot from your audience if you talk with them like normal people. Don't act like some proud fool that has just made a movie. Show them that you are just like them and that it was a labor of love for you to make the movie.

Usally after a showing I do have a Q and A. There are lots of questions, some where you have to say it's movie magic. Don't reveal all your secrets. ;)
Just my 2 cents...
