This is a filmmaker’s camera kit. It contains a Canon 7D, two canon lenses, a Rode Videomic and Zoom H1 audio recorder as well as a camera bag. It was all used in the making of an independent feature film two years ago. The film, a drama made on a small budget, played in nine film festivals in the summer and fall of 2014 and got us a distribution deal. The 7D has been used very little since we finished shooting. There have been only 1,016 shutter activations to date, so it is in very good shape. There are people who press the shutter a thousand times the first week with this camera.
Here is what comes with the kit, which I'll sell for $1,450:

– Canon battery charger
– Rode Videomic with camera mount and hand grip
– 8-foot Videomic extension cord
– Zoom H1 stereo recorder with USB cable
– Two Sandisk Extreme 8GB cards
– One Sandisk Extreme 16GB card
– Sandisk card reader with USB connector
– Two Tiffen 70mm neutral density filters – one is .3 density and the other is .6
– A Lowepro camera bag that comfortably carries all the gear listed.
While the Rode Videomic can sit in the camera’s hotshoe and connect directly to the camera to record sound with the video, many have found the better audio comes from using the Rode mic and the Zoom H1 recorder and then syncing the video and sound in post production. The camera will also record sound, so it is simple to sync the two versions of the same audio.
The only thing missing in this kit is the lens cap for the 50mm lens. It got misplaced at some point and hasn’t turned up.
