Realm Pictures is looking to build up a team to work on its new slate of films for 2010, with our first project a Victorian horror. Our passion is telling stories that transport audiences to a whole different world.
If you're a talented, ambitious writer and you think you know what takes to can scare today's cynical audience, we'd love to see what your mind comes up with.
We're an all volunteer team, and while we can't pay you for this project, we'd love to establish long term relationships and eventually move into commercial work.
Play with the idea: what lies out there in the dark? Creatures, spirits, the child's dead mother? Do the lights cut out, does reality warp, the train burst into light and flame? What's our most primal fear? What can't we help but see and shudder? Is our protoganist the hunter or hunted? A victim or villian?
