watch Space Pirates - Puppet Movie

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Here is the first film that I produced, directed and composed the soundtrack for. It is was made solely for the enjoyment of film making and turned out to be tons of fun. Comments Welcome!

Summary
In a galaxy, a group of aliens are sent on a mission to save their planet from a black hole, upon arriving at their destination, an asteroid collides with their vessel causing the crew to crash land on Earth.
The aliens live undetected for decades until one day a dog finds their home and takes their book. Their only chance at getting home resides within the book, but the aliens cannot read.
With the help of two friends, they read the book and find a treasure map. Will they pull off the heist? Can they fix their ship and save the galaxy? All while the Agency searches for the downed vessel.

Short Squeal or epilogue is in pre production for Space Pirates, hopeing to release it sometime this summer. Here is the summary.

When Vessel niner is pillaged and Matey taken hostage by Spacey and his gang of Pirates, it may be to late to save Planitaria. Will Vessel Niners crew be able to rescue Matey from walking the plank? Will they recover the treasure and take down the space pirates before the black hole engulfs Planitaria?

 I watched the teaser and the trailer.

55 minutes may be a little too long for this kind of material, though. I would recommend a limited web series with episodes that are 2-4 minutes long. It seems perfect for that and if you can keep the humor consistent, it may develop a small following.

Thank you for viewing Ernest! the feedback is great. A member of my team wanted me to make short 10 minute episodes when I originally showed him the script. My goal was to make a feature length movie, so that is what I stuck too. It was originally around 80 minutes and edited down to 55 minutes. thanks again for watching.

Congratulations. As you asked for feedback... it is weirdly entertaining and would make a good kids series. I have no idea why it's so watchable but you'll have to explain it.

gorillaonabike, thanks for the response. If I had to chose one probably the main reason is we simply becuase we had a blast making the film, and that shines though a little bit enhancing the feel of the film. It gives off an overall, non-serious and fun vibe.

for anyone who enjoyed the film, you may want to check out the bounus footage for blooper out takes, set building, and behind the scenes footage.
