Kessler Crane motion control vs competition

I was going to buy a kessler revolution head and shuttlepod motion control, but then I came across this kickstarter project which basically does the exact same thing for way cheaper. Do you think the kessler gear is overpriced now?

If i wanted to buy the kessler gear it would be around $5000. this kickstarter project you can get it for under $2000

I can't believe these guys made $666k on their kickstarter project. What do you need this $2000-$5000 revolution head for? How many seconds of your 10 minute short film is going to be devoted to these stunning shots? Why is it so central to your storytelling?

I think you're obsessing over gear. Good gear is great, but at our indie film level, some things are overkill, given our limited resources.
