LIghting clamps

Could anybody give me a link on how to make a home made lighting clamp?
I've made the lamp itself and the base and shaft I just need to clamp it onot the pole.
It needs to be adjustable also.
Have looked around but some cost round 40$.
Or hopefully you know of some techniques or other topics on this forum that can show me how.
Cheers.

I would go to home depot or menards and go to the work lights section. They have already made clamp lights or scoop lights. I think that is what you are looking for.
