Eros and Psyche: Story beats

Hello scriptwriters!

Here's the famous love story of Eros and Psyche being prepared for a short 3D animated flick.

Are the following story beats ready for an outline? Does it flow well for an animation?
Thanks for taking the time!

Eros & Psyche
Story beats (or scenes) | ver. no. 1

In a nutshell: Because of her beauty Psyche incurs the wrath of Aphrodite, who sends her son Eros to put her in her place, but ends up falling in love himself. Eros sets Psyche up in a magical palace with only one concision which she breaks. Psyche then has to go to hell and back (literally) to prove her love for Eros and win him back.

1. As always, Psyche is being worshiped by a small mob, while her two older sisters observe with envious hearts. They realize that the Goddess of beauty, Aphrodite, would not be happy about this, so they decide to go pray at her temple to speed things up.
2. The mob praises Psyche's beauty and declare her their object of worship over the Goddess Aphrodite.
3. This infuriates the jealous Goddess and she orders her son Eros to punish Psyche and make her fall in love with a hideous being.
4. Eros visits Psyche at night, casts a spell on her but falls in love as well.
5. The spell alienates Psyche and causes her to be ignored by all. Her parents are concerned and suspect the Gods for Psyche's misfortune.
6. The king consults Apollo's oracle, who instructs him to abandon Psyche on a mountain top to be taken by a creature both morals and Gods fear.
7. Amidst a great deal of drama, Psyche is left to her faith on the mountain. The jealous sisters are secretly rejoicing. As a protective charm, Psyche's mother gives her a necklace with a butterfly.
8. When everybody's gone, Zephyr the West wind delivers Psyche to a magical and extravagant palace.
9. Psyche is greeted by invisible servants who bath her, feed her and tuck her in while laying down the one and only rule of the house: she is never to look upon her husband or inquire about his identity!
10. As time passes by, Psyche gets bored and the palace seems more like a beautiful prison. Therefore, she persuades her husband, Eros, to let Zephyr bring her two older sisters for a visit.
11. The two sisters arrive, quickly get jealous of Psyche's plush lifestyle, and talk her into breaking the house rule #1.
12. Later that night, with an oil lamp in one hand and dagger in the other, Psyche looks upon Eros and is taken back by his divine looks, so much so, that she burns him with the oil lamp. Eros wakes up and heartbroken retreats to Mt. Olympus, castle and all, abandoning Psyche in the middle of the forest.
13. On Mt. Olympus, Aphrodite scowls Eros, grounds him and takes away his wings, bow and quiver.
14. After some time of aimless searching for Eros, Psyche visits the temple of Hera, Goddess of marriage. She is reminded of Zeus's frivolous ways and told to abandon all hope of ever being with Eros.
15. At a river, Daphne, daughter of the river God, takes pity on the sobbing princess, gives her a good pep talk. Then she tells her to be brave and face Aphrodite.
16. Psyche visits Aphrodite in her temple where she gets punished and given impossible tasks to prove her housewifery. As her last task, Psyche is sent to the underworld to fetch a certain beauty potion from Persephone.
17. Not knowing any better, Psyche resolves to throw herself off a cliff to gain entrance to the underworld, albeit in spirit form. Luckily, Zephyr intervenes and sends her to the tower of Gaia, where the pure of heart may gain entry to the underworld and live to tell about it.
18. At the tower Psyche meets a friendly old woman (Gaia?) who gives her necessary advice for her quest and sends her on down.
19. With help from Charon (the ferryman), Psyche passes Cerberus and reaches the adobe of Persephone.
20. Persephone gives her the beauty potion Aphrodite requested and instructs her not to open the box as it's meant only for the divine Aphrodite.
21. Back on the surface, no longer able to contain her curiosity, Psyche opens the box in the hopes of making herself a bit prettier for Eros. But instead some dark magic comes out of it and puts Psyche into an endless sleep.
22. Back on Mt. Olympus, Zephyr alerts Eros and helps him recover his wings so that he can go save his woman.
23. Upon finding Psyche, Eros quickly returns the black magic into the box and wakes his lover with a few kisses and flies her up to Mt. Olympus.
24. Zeus takes pity on the young couple, makes Psyche immortal, and patches things up with Aphrodite.
And they all live happily ever after!

THE END
