I am co-directing a short film this summer hopefully but we are in need of funding as the story we plan to film will cost too much for us to fund ourselves. we are currently looking at £5000 for pre production preparations, obtaining locations and props, expenses for all crew and actors plus composer fee in post production.
We have looked into UK Film Council and from what i can see they funding feature films and help to complete short films once they have been started.
Can anyone give us advice on where to look etc?
