Anyone who appreciates classical/film music, the subtleties of complex orchestrations, and the idea of an extensive explorative journey with one song, should hear the following: I'm going live on my Instagram (@ RyanTrep) every night of summer '17 with performances of my song, "There With Me." And you should catch at least two nights.
Every performance is different as far as style, genre, and overall tone. I play around with the song by changing it up rhythmically, playing with the melody line, innovating the harmonies, etc. Witness the early days as I create these versions, often messing up, crafting as I go. Down the road, I plan to reintroduce each version in more polished form.
As a film composer, I'm interested in collaborations with directors with profound, emotional stories with a great deal of character detail and depth.
