We just launched a Kickstarter for a short film!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1633090136/striker/

"Striker is a professional thief, but when betrayed with his loot taken, and surrounded by four crooks, he has to become a detective."

Striker is a 25 minute long murder-mystery/action/thriller/crime film. The budget we're hoping for is $2,350, mostly going towards equipment, make-up and catering, with some left over to rent a van.

We have the actors, we have the script done and a 9-page shot list, the writer/director has the drive and the inspiration to make something great, he just needs help funding it. I've known him for years, I've seen him make simple but stylish crime short films, and I worked with him on making a feature film with zero budget (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og1mlQ-4avI). I wanna see this project get made, but we can't do it without help from others who also wanna see it get made.

I feel like I'm over-selling it, there's tons of information on the Kickstarter if you wanna see what it's about. I just wanted to be convincing :D

The sound isn't good.. One of the co-director interview is barely audible, I found myself adjusting the sound multiple times.. I liked the actor James Brown who plays Striker but who is this guy? What does he really want? The audience gets barely a taste here. More of him, less of the filmmakers..
But it's a short, looks like you guys may reach your funding amount- I look forward to seeing the finished film!
