Well shot. Hot focal point (which doesn't hurt) and well cut teaser. The only thing I didn't like is her in the sitting-up posture out of nowhere...it's not a problem really...it's kind of a jump cut, I understand. But it was a little odd.

I'm not one for torture porn...it's not my cup o...but I'd be interested in seeing where this goes.

Well thank you, it was a good shoot, I should mention that it was all done on a RED package.

While watching the teaser, I guessed that it was shot with a RED.
I really liked the camera work and the editing. Good work!
The only critic I have, is about the last shot. I do not like the lighting there and it seems as if you tried to fix it a bit in the post.

But all in all I am really curious and I will have a look at the official site.

Nice work on the technicals. I'm with M1 - torture porn doesn't do it for me, but at least you've taken a tack I haven't seen - gotten away from the "random american girls tortured in exotic setting" story that plagues the genre.

I'd also say the last shot lacks impact. It's gone in a flash; holding on it a little longer would match the pacing of the other shots and give the viewer time to let the event sink into their mind.

Would be interesting to use the same dialogue, on a slightly shorter teaser that starts with slow, contemplative ECUs of the guy's wounds and bindings, then works out to reveal the rest of the scene - ie him in the corner and her in power. Of course that wastes all those nice shots you have of the young lady smoking in bed. I only mention it because I ramble, and her monologue had a very VO feel to it.

first of all... WOW... i really want to go out and see this film.
Being an amateur, in all sense of the word in regards to film, i feel a little awkward critiquing someone who obviously has more talent, experience, etc... than me but i'll do it anyways.
I agree with Michael that the jump cut is a little awkward. Also I could notice audio levels dropping up and down in between shots.
Lastly I agree with david and think that including the tied up guy a little more could have an intense impact. Maybe instead of showing his wounds in the beginning you could edit them in between some of the shots of the girl on the bed. Then you wouldn't have to sacrifice the awesome composition in the bed shots and it would mix things up a little; keep the audience more intrigued.
