. We are planning a documentary film called "Four Degrees of Freedom". The film explores the sense and meaning of “human connection” and whether two complete strangers can feel each other as close friends. The film tests the “six degrees of separation” theory, which claims that everyone is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world. What is the vital nature of communication which allows a human to “reach” others – a common friend, the same language, or a shared feeling?
