Hello, I had a scout about but couldn't find exactly what i was after in old threads so ill continue...
We have set up a partnership and are about to embark on our first feature film project costing us around £2400. What we need though is Public Liability Insurance, but do we need anything else?
How do these things work for films? Do we need Employers Liability as well? If we pay an actor are they an employee or a contractor? Or would they be covered under PLI?
We want about £2,000,000 cover for damages/accidents etc but also want our equipment covering too. Will the crew be covered under PLI? Will the actors?
Basically how does this work and what do i need? (other than your help!)
I'm sure lots of people on here have done it and we could really use the help!
