Bob Denvers

Hi,
I would appreciate it, if someone would enlighten me. In American Dad, a grip says this memorable sentence: "Apple box flyin' in! Dino, let's put sticks on a half apple and fly in a couple of C-47s so I can jelly-roll those Bob Denvers, and put 'em on an apple box."

I know what an apple box is, and a half apple, and I think C-47s are some sort of clips.
But what are sticks (on a half apple), and what is jelly-roll Bob Denvers?

Thanks a lot!

apple box, wooden box that resembles apple box
half apple box, half size, also quarter apples
c-47s are clothes pins

Googled the rest lol
jelly roll = sound blanket
bob denvers no idea. :)

That’s a great scene. Roger the alien in one of his many, bizarre characters. We never really see what’s going on around him. He’s shouting at people and actions that are off-screen.

“Bob Denvers” was thrown in there to see who was paying attention. The dialog was written for Roger, a character who often inserts himself into a random role that comes way out of left field. And Roger being Roger, usually bullshitting his way through that role, he’ll spout out long and sometimes nonsensical strings of halfway-accurate industry lingo.

A couple of C-47s ain’t gonna hold a sound blanket. “Bob Denvers” is just for laughs.

Thanks! He talked so fast that stuff would've just gone over my head.
Those cutaways to Laugh-In are even funnier.
The kid's clothes do kinda look like Gilligan, with the red shirt & blue pants.
