My camera recorded video as .AVI files which don't work in my Final Cut express. The video will only play with VLC player. It doesn't play with a "preview" on a Mac.
I've been searching for free .AVI convert software with no luck. There are ones that cost $29.99 but I'm not looking to spend that money. Every program I've tried to use will either produce a new file with no sound or with video that is just solid white.
Trying to get this edited with Final Cut so any advice would be appreciated. Any other formats I should try to convert to and with what software?
