Feature Film Kickstarter Campaign Needs Your Help *Updated*

Hey everyone.
My name is Matthew Quinlan I am the writer/director of All4Him FIlms current project Memories and Blessings.

Memories and Blessings is the story of Steven Whitmore, who experiences tragedy when his wife is killed in a car accident. With his life in a sudden tailspin Steven finds an old box filled with memorabilia from the life he and Samantha, his wife, had spent together. He also finds a scrap book with the word Memories printed on the front. We watch as Steven and Samantha?s past unfolds before our eyes and we see what it means to be truly blessed, and how the only way to truly deal with tragedy is through the power of Jesus Christ.

The majority of the film takes place within this book of memories as Steven recalls how he met his wife and the roller-coaster ride they have experience together. The primary theme of the film is that even though tragedy is a terrible thing, God can still work through it and carry us along the way.

The story stems in part from a tragedy my family suffered about a year and a half ago when my younger brother?s car went of the road on an extremely rainy night and he was killed. Pieces of the story are inspired by that situation, not so much the actual events but how God used it and the strength He gave to both of my parents.

We recently started filming but still are in need of funds to reach our budget. So hence the kickstarter campaign. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. We are very excited about this project and can't wait to finish it but we need your help. We have 27 days to raise the funds so please consider pledging or at least share it with friends and family.

Hey Matt. Watched the video on the page and I'm really confused. The video looked like a mini doc about the filmmaking process, but the kick starter page talks about a movie. It's a loooong video too, I started it, after about a minute fast forwarded it to see you eating chips, then turned it off.

You might consider a shorter 60-120 second video that talks about the production and why you need $10k. There's a lot of good crowd funding advice on the board too if you look around that'll help polish the campaign.

Hey thanks your right, for some reason I was thinking that I had already uploaded and added the new video to the campaign. I put that as a place holder when I created the campaign and meant to change it when I set it as active. Sorry about that thanks for letting me know though. Hey All,
Just wanted to let everyone know if you hadn't seen it already that we replaced the pitch video with the correct one. So now you can actually see what we need the funds for. We also added an exclusive video clip of a scene we shot for the Samantha Whitmore's funeral in the film. Please take a look and consider helping out.

Hey everyone, quick update. We have 14 days left, and so far we have raised $175 out of $10,000. The exiting news though is from now until the end of the campaign for just $1 you can get the downloadable version of the finished film when it releases in January 2013. Just one dollar! Most people can probably find that in their couch. Please help us out with just a buck and pass it along to all of your friends and family. A dollar is an awesome deal for any film.
