I great date movie would be the Lather effect. Pretty good flick thats definitely one of my favorites in 2008. Its a great character study about a bunch friends in their 30's looking back on their lives thus far. It reminds me of the Big Chill in many aspects but more for our generation. The characters of the Big Chill were great but they don't pass the test of time. I would definitely recommend
