watch Indietalk Hall of Fame

Hmm... I'm not wholly comfortable ranking the work of all the members here, even though there are some that I've loved and some that I've... well, not so.

I think there would be benefit, however, to having some sort of 'sticky' directory of short films arranged by member, so that we can easily find examples of what a particular member has made.

I'm a big Mixed Messages fan as well :)
 
All I would say is that people of all abilities post their films in the screening room in order to get criticism, praise and advice. Indietalk isn't a competition and so I just don't think it's right to rank the films. Nominate away so that there's a good selection, by all means, I just don't think it's a good idea to have a voting system.
 
I think it's ok to have both. Some enjoy competition, and above all it gives people a target to shoot for. I hope everyone tries to be the best, and rankings encourage that. There should at least be somewhere on the entire forum you could get recognized if you were. Nothing wrong with that.

We might have to agree on a budget limit though, so that the grading curve isn't too steep. I'll personally be abstaining from submitting.
