Has anybody ever used MOTU Digital Performer? Looks pretty dope! I need a more intuitive sequencer, Cubase requires too many steps for my over creative mind to deal with. I need something more straight to the point. I use Cubase & Studio One currently.

I like DP for MIDI sequencing and music related audio, but prefer Pro Tools for sound-for-picture. Even if I do extensive music work in DP I export to PT to mix.
I used to think if I had a Mac, I would run DP (I've always been a Cakewalk/Sonar guy, but I haven't liked a lot of the changes to Sonar lately). Now that it's available for Windows, I'll have to give the demo a shot when I'm next between projects.
I've always liked Cubase for recording/mixing, but I hate it on the MIDI side (and I do a lot of MIDI these days).
