So i just applied to a video production program a college and have about 15 days to confirm it.
Now i live and breath everything film and cinema, it has been my dream since i was 12 years old when i was writing scripts about True Lies 2 or Teenage Mutant Turtles.I tried film school for a semester when i was 20 but dropped out because i failed some main courses.I have got the drive and passion to post on various websites about getting a film up and running but also end up quitting the process thanks to not having any experience in how to make and shoot a film.
I am asking this because the 2 year program is going to be costing $8'000-$9'500 for the two years and that is a huge investment.
Is there a website , video youtube channel or anything that can teach you the basics of filmmaking from how to shoot, lighting , editing and after effects? Indie talk community please help and i would appreciate it
