Yet Another Composer Post

Hello Indietalk!

I just joined your community. It's been a long time since I have joined up and posted in a community having to do with music and films, my two greatest passions.

I've had luck in that one of my good friends is an animator, and another is an indie game developer - I've gotten a chance to write for commercials, stage productions, and video games. I'm hoping to find someone on here in need of a freelance composer.

By reading through here I've discovered a definite lack of response to the "I'm a musician - hire me!" posts, but I figure what the hell - can't hurt.

The following is stuff I've done. I'd appreciate comments and criticism. If anybody would like to hire a composer, even better.

DB Electrical commercial - I did both music and sfx. Was an extremely fun project.

Possible menu music for an upcoming game.

Some piano.

This is a bit of an oldie (years old), but it went to the game developers' conference in California as pitch music for a game.

Thank you all!

A tip from a fellow composer/audioguy - I haven't posted one of these threads at all and yet I've made a bunch of contacts, worked on quite a few projects and even founded a few strong long-term working relationships (with some excellent people). This is a community, treat it as one, take an interest in the people. You'll find it's a much faster route to finding work than simply telling everyone you exist. :)
