Plot:
Raleigh and Alan are dying of a contagious, incurable disease. To make matters worse, they've also been quarantined by the government against their will, in the middle of nowhere, cut off from all their family and friends. Just when they thought their lives couldn't get any worse, a man by the name of Waylan gets assigned to their house... and shows them just how good they really had it.

"Quarantined" is a refreshingly comical and poignant story about regrets, tolerance and never taking life too seriously.

Additional Info:
"Quarantined" marks the feature-length, directorial debut of Sean A. Stearley. It also became the final film of the late Corey Allen (who stared opposite James Dean in "Rebel Without a Cause" and went on to direct many things including the 2-hr pilot episode of "Star Trek: The Next Generation.") who just past away on June 27th, 2010.

This movie represents indie filmmaking on just about every level imaginable. Sean A. Stearley had a fund-raiser in his hometown of Wapakoneta, Ohio, to finance the film. And although it was somewhat successful, the budget was still considered to be "on a shoestring" and Stearley was forced to make the best out of what he had to work with. He had no film crew and minimal help from friends, but was somehow able to shoot, edit, produce, write and direct the entire film by himself. The majority of the film was also shot in a two bedroom apartment, where Stearley and two of his cast members (Kit Bateman and Todd Brown) actually lived together as real-life roommates. They shot the film around everyone's part-time job schedules, and it took Stearley several years before he was finally able to release the film.

The tone of the movie is similar to the styles of Wes Anderson, Judd Apatow, "The Office" television series and has a lot of awkward and quirky humor, as well as a few animated sequences that are integrated throughout the film.
