Is this a good deal/buy

Hey so someone i know is selling their iMac slim 21.5" 1TB hard rive, 8GB Ram with trackpad for $1,000. I really only use FCPX, Davinci Resolve and Protools when editing. Should this thing be able to run those (mainly FCPX) without much problem? I am right now on a Macbook Pro and i really wanna get away form and get something built more for editing.

What are your thoughts? Good buy or pass.

I run Avid MC 6.5, Pro Tools 8 LE, DaVinci Resolve, as well as the occasional use of AE, Photoshop and Illustrator (obviously not everything at once ;)) on a 2011 i5 27" iMac with 4GB of RAM, so I would think you wouldn't go too astray with that.

I'd personally probably want to swap the TrackPad for a Magic Mouse though - I can't imagine how awful attempting to edit would be with a Trackpad.

At least the Magic Mouse combines the best of both worlds
