watch TUMBLEWEED - WEB SERIES

Hey everyone, here's a link to a Western Comedy web series I made with an amazing team of filmmakers. We would love to hear your feedback. It's about a gamer who starts playing "Tumbleweed", the most modern, graphically advanced, video game in history. But his impatient want for violence and sex activates an unexpected feature in this highly advanced game... consequences.

Rated "M" for mature...

Your lead man is very funny...can't wait to see more of this webseries.

Your web series is well produced. However, the protagonist's irreverent, crude humor is unnecessary and derivative, resulting in groans instead of laughs.

oh my god.... probably the best web series I've ever seen. How could you possibly afford this unbelieveable setting and this unbelievable cast? Why did you make a youtube web series with all this money? Why didn't you make a comedy feature? This is just absolutely brilliant. I'd watch through every 'reload' in a movie theater for two hours of this insanity.

Hey Trueindie, I wish we had enough funding for a feature film. We're working on that for our next project. This was a project were we got a little funding but it was a shoe string budget. It helped that we shot the first 9 days in a row all in one location (WhiteHorse Ranch). Then we had about 3 days of pick up shots. This was shot for over a year ago.

Watched the first two episodes. I reckon the humour & language suits the target audience perfectly, though that audience is gonna be a bit more niche. Good stuff.

.

Hey Zenstev, it's true, we went after a particular audience, the video gamer, which is not an easy audience to please. Some of the humor is immature and crude, and to be frank it was not an easy decision to make. I'm from the mid west so I'm sure some of my family members are shaking their heads, and most of our team are married and have kids. Lots of late night chats went into this, we wondered if we should go balls out or try to cater to everybody. We even thought of bleeping out the swears. Well, we decided to go balls out and in way we poke fun of our audience as well (Just a little bit). Hope you tune in for the rest of the series we do our best to put some heart into the show too. There's 8 episodes total, number 5 comes out Monday. Thanks for your feedback, it is appreciated.

Hey Phil,

Well, I love the dimwitted hero or the lovable asshole characters. My favorite is Bruce Campbell's Ash in the Evil Dead series. I guess more modern would be Danny Mcbribe in East Bound Down. So yeah, thanks for your feedback, hope you continue to check out the series. Number 5 comes out Monday.

Is this based on or inspired by Red Dead Redemption?

It's inspired by. We didn't want to do a Fan Film. We wanted to do something original and have the freedom to create our own characters, but stay in the video game world. Our director said "Let's do a Western video game, it will be easy, we'll just shoot it in the desert". Boy was he wrong...

I asked that question before I actually watched it. (Shouldn't have) I just saw the first shot and asked, then I saw the subsequent shots and knew the answer immediately. lol

You guys did a perfect job on this.

watched all four that are up and it got better and better. One day if you get a huge budget, you oughta remake it as a film or TV show

Just a thought
