I've used a few of the free elements from detonation films.com. There are lots of HD element packs for sale out there. Google "compositing elements fire explosions pyro"

Thanks, I found some. The ones I found are somewhat expensive for my budget but it will help. I'll keep looking.

Alcove: Of course. But I need to manage my budget very well since it is rather small and decide on what I should pay for and what I should try to do myself or find other ways to do (for example: 3d particles for explosions, stock footage or simply avoid showing explosions) and determine what will be the impact of those decisions on the finished product.

Will:

I'm using Blender but rendering is very slow for smoke and fire as they can't be rendered with the GPU for now. But I'll see. Thanks.
