Thrown Down is a film partly based on the poetry book of the same name, written by Producer/Director, Nid Collins. Written in 2006, Thrown Down was turned into a script in 2013 by Kathy Downham.

This 'Sneak Peek' came about as a result of a last minute effort to be included in a local Film Festival.

Thrown Down - A film by Nid Collins

A young woman (Jaqueline Prieto) moves to a small Wyoming town and meets a young man (Jonathan Neal Hallowell) at a bar. She falls quickly and obsessively in love with him. As time goes by and as quickly as the relationship develops, it also starts to fall apart and a secret that her new boyfriend has been carrying with him since he was seventeen years old, becomes a problem that ultimately leads to a tragic outcome.

Thrown Down is about the risks we take when we are not honest with ourselves and the consequences of our actions. The screenplay was written by Kathy Downham and is loosely based on the book Thrown Down by Nid Collins.
