watch Devout - Dramatic Short Trailer

https://vimeo.com/161498493

Above is the link to our trailer for the film "Devout".

Six days of shooting on the Canon C100. The film has been entered into multiple festivals. More important than that is that I have the opportunity to share my film with you, the film community. We make movies not for awards, but to share our thoughts and feelings with the world. It doesn't matter if the film wins any awards. The only thing that matters is that people get to watch something that I've created. Let me know what you think about the film and below I've included a link to the Facebook page if you want to receive updates on how the film is doing.

Looking forward to your thoughts and comments.

Pace was waaay too slow.

While the music is beautiful, it adds nothing to the trailer.

I would think faster cuts, with some music, that builds to where she says, "He's done something." towards the 3/4 mark. Instead of in the middle.

I actually did the following: I muted your clip and played this music over it, starting the music at the 1:00:00 mark. I know it's copyright music, but it illustrates the "building" effect I would be looking for.

As an example, I would use the high "tink" note, that repeats all through the music as the point to cut. Almost all cuts would be one "tink" long.
