Hi! I am new to this site and am hoping to start to get better acquainted! I live in NYC (Brooklyn) and, although all of my experience is basically in theatre...I am TRYING to get into some films!! I know I can learn a lot from these boards....and just wanted to say hello and wish you all luck as well!!!

Good luck with the film move. In addition to trying independent feature films auditions try getting into student films(to put on your resume) or writing and putting together a digital film(with yourself in the starring role).
 
You have a very good look, good luck to you. There are quite a few NY directors and producers frequenting these boards.

Well thank you for the welcomes and the advice! I have tried a bit for the student films and such...but nothing has quite panned out. I will just keep on keepin' on though! Thank you!
