Moving to the UK?

Any tips? How's the job market? Any difficulties getting a job with a foreign (EU) degree? What are some great cities / areas to live in?
 
Where exactly would you be coming from?

What’s your degree in? As far as I am aware, foreign degrees are widely recognised and held with as much regards as a UK degree. Would you only take a job that matched your level of qualification?

As far as where to live – I’m based in the Midlands. The UK has a pretty good motorway network, so being in the Midlands means that you’re connected to everywhere. I can be in London in a little over an hour. Personally, London is one of my favourite places to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there.
