This is a strange comedy about reprobate saw mill workers in a small town in western Washington. There's some truth to it.
"A small town surrounded by mountains in the north Cascades. Most everyone works in the mill, GREENWOOD; a massive soft wood mill. The story centers around a specific family-the Arlingtons-and the friends around them. The premiss is that their world is changing, and BIG BUSINESS has bought the mill from the folks who started it in the early sixties. Now many peoples' lives are turned up side down due to the fact that BIG BUSINESS doesn't like the stubborn, lawless living of the mountain Hill Billy."
