Here is a couple of little feature's I like to mention
Anyone, we mean ANYONE, can upload their film onto Fillim - There is no submissions process at all. There are 10 people on the fillim team. Some of us have made movies, some of us have made money from selling movies and all of us love watching movies ... but who the hell are we to tell the global audience of over 3 billion people what film is good and what isn't?! We don't have that power and we don't think we should ... so we let our community decide what they want to watch and pay for. Your audience and peers can rate, comment and share what they want they like and what they love. All the most watched and highly rated stuff goes to the top of the pile or to the "Staff Favourites" front page. Oh for sure, we curate for nasty, offensive stuff that belongs elsewhere ... because there are somethings that we just can't allow to be shown.
Choose Your Price or make it Free - On Fillim, you can share your films for free or YOU can choose your price .... make it a dollar ... make it three, make it ten! It's totally up to you. For every film sold, we use revenue share to keep Fillim operational and to make sure you get to keep making movies ... The RevShare is a 30/70 split. 30% to us and the big 'ol 70% to the film makers.
Geo Blocking - So have sold your film for distribution in North America or Europe or Asia? ... Bloody Fantastic! Well done ... Now, with Fillim, you can instantly access the rest of the world that the distribution licence doesn't cover. With our bespoke Geo Blocking feature you can choose, right down to individual countries, where your film can and can't be shown, so you can put your film up onto the world stage with out having to worry about getting a letter from a lawyer.
So, as you can see, Fillim's mission is to help you release and distribute your film, your way.
Our priority is for you, the film maker, to get the easiest deal, the most exposure and the best return for your work.
