Where can I find other film-makers in my area?

Hi! I live in Charleston SC, I was wondering where/how to find other filmmakers because I wanna help out! My greatest strength are video editing, cinematography, and I've been working on writing screenplays for the past 6 months; any tips would be appreciated, thanks!

You could check Craigslist, Meetup groups for filmmakers, film bureau if you have one, check acting studios and related filmmaking activities, and perhaps schools in the area that have film production is a start. Check the phone book for companies with related activites. You might find some production companies. I'm sure there are many more that I haven't mentioned.
