4k footage only play in 360 on youtube

I'm posting this here also in hopes somebody can help me. My 4k dji footage will only play in 360 on youtube for some odd reason. i've exported it out a couple of different ways. it looks great on my desktop but horrible on youtube. and in vimeo it only goes up to 720. but i think thats the highest vimeo supports.

please please help. thank you in advanced

ok so when you first upload it to youtube it will say that the video is ready and you will be able to watch it. but it will be in a very low quality at first. i just came back in like an hour after it was uploaded and then i could watch in in full 4k resolution
