Time to let all you talented folks know of the First Grade Film Fest's Call for Submissions (for directors, editors, actors, tinkerers):

POSTMARK DEADLINE: April 4, 2003.
First Grade Film Fest showcases the early works of both first-time and established filmmakers who favor ideas over convention. There are no genres. There is no submission fee. There will be drinks. Last year's event was a great success, as several hundred folks packed the San Francisco venue for the screening of director's short films and videos. I strongly suggest everyone submit at least one piece, as the fest is a great opportunity to present your works to other filmmakers, members of the entertainment world, and, wowsers, the public. First Grade accepts movies you have directed, edited, acted in, or otherwise tinkered with. Movies under 40 minutes in length considered. The earlier you enter, the better your chances. Please submit in VHS, miniDV, or DVD format to:
