watch Sands of Ikkera - Short Film

Hello everyone, first time to these forums so here's a small backstory. We are a small film company in Redding CA that make scifi fantasy films. My wife and I met 3 years ago and decided to pursue filmmaking together as a career with family.
This project we thought up last year and have been working on it for over 13 months, not much free time for other stuff. We built everything from the ground up from the world, characters, armor, robot, speeder, etc. Shooting happened it last month and are now into post-production and are hoping to release it locally and to festivals by November. So enjoy the photos, and we will be posting a teaser in a few weeks.

Wishing you the best of luck. I always take my hat off to the micro budget indie feature folks. Personally, I think Sundance etc should feature a lot more of the ultra low budget features and less of the 3m to 6m indie features with big name stars.

Is this is a short or feature? I really want to see this, it looks interesting and nice.

Thanks guys, it's a short we're shooting for about 40 mins. It was a blast building everything and we put in probably thousand hours over the course of our pre-production. Our next projects will be full features and are currently working on a few other projects under our friends at Spero Pictures.
