80s movies-fall

movies made in the 80s seemed to of captured my favorite season in a way I cant describe. (fall) I was born in 89, but does anyone know what I mean?
 
It's hard to explain. movies like breakfast club. Big. Rives edge. uncle buck. these for example and much more caught the autumn vibe very well. not even from the writing or the story aspect of the movie. no. something about the cameras and how the scenes were shot during that time of year. maybe it's not suppose to make sense.
