Color Grading Specialist - anyone here?

Looking for a color grader for my feature film, The Legend of Cooley Moon. Deadline is May 24th. We paid special attention to color palettes and the like so that everything matches throughout the entire movie. I can color grade myself; however I'm not near good enough nor do I really have the time to dedicate to just that alone. Any referrals, suggestions, or takers? Let me know!

I've actually been doing quite a bit of grading of late. What is the length of the project? Feature or Short?

It's a full feature length. Going into final cut now. 80 minutes long (without credits).

I'd really like to hand it over to an IT'er as I know it'd get taken care of properly!

The look I'm going for is Book of Eli - post apocalyptic - washed out. It was filmed with that look in mind.

What kind of file do you have for the one who grades it? Pass off in XML?

The movie was shot 70/30 (70% on Canon 5DII and 30% on the Sony PMW-EX3) . They match up really nicely. Files are in .MOV and .MXF (which came from Nanoflash files shot at 100-180mbs). The movie can be rendered out in lossless (AVI) or whatever works the best.

I can send a harddrive via the mail with the project files on it if the color grader doesn't want it as AVI.

I wish I had a bit more experience and some free time. Color grading is something I'm really starting to get into, but so far I've only tackled my own shorts and wouldn't feel confident taking on someone else's feature.

Though that whole Book of Eli/washed out look is one of my favorite looks! Good luck finding someone!

I'm going this route on The Kohlman Files as well.
I have let my editor do it on all my previous projects and it's been OK, but not totally happy with it. I know a post specialist (though straight out of school) I am gonna give a crack at it this time.

Sounds interesting, but cross-Atlantic post back and forth will take some time.
(80 minutes of uncompressed Avi is approx. or over 650GB. It could be a good idea to chop that export into several pieces.)
