Somebody screaming in a screenplay

Hello,

I am in a little pickle with this situation, if a character screams, let's say he/she sees a dead body, then should it be:

--- Action

Joseph SCREAMS

... Character then Action in dialogue

Joseph
SCREAMS

.... Character then dialogue

Joseph
Ahhhhh!

If the person scream in the middle of a dialogue, then do we use the word SCREAM, or do we use Ahhhh! ?

Thank you

To my mind, screaming belongs in action, not dialogue.

If it's during dialogue, then switch to action. For example:

JOSEPH
(while pissing)
If that badger down there tries to bite my dick off again while I'm taking a piss, I swear I'm gonna...

Joseph SCREAMS!

Make sense?

Cheers!
