Labs - transfer of video to 16mm

Hi, I'm in the process of preparing a series of short animations, I need to transfer the results to 16mm film for projection as loops, probably from digibeta but maybe straight from avi format or a dvd. There's no sound involved.

I'm working in the uk and the labs here seem to be charging high rates for this; I've heard mention that overseas labs, possibly europe or the states, charge more reasonable prices, would anyone have any adresses or numbers that could help me?
