LOST IN AMERICA is a feature documentary that follows formally homeless director Rotimi Rainwater's journey to shine a light on the issue of homeless youth. The film looks at the many issues that surround homeless youth from sex trafficking to the failure of the foster care system to the lack of acceptance of LGBT kids. Over the past year we have met so many amazing youth who are all fighting for the same thing, the American Dream. They are all looking for a shelter from the pain they've experienced and a way to get back the future that was taken away from them.

The journey so far has been inspiring and has touched every member of our team. We've learned so much and met so many amazing youth. But we need to finish shooting, and this is the time for us to do it. We need to finish shooting by the end of May to be ready for festival season next year. More importantly, some of the kids we've met have amazing things happening in their lives soon. One is graduating from high school, another from college. And we promised them we'd be there.
We need $35,000 to finish shooting. To get the film "in the can" as the phrase goes. We truly need your help to do this. Imagine the lives we can touch with your help.
