Arclight releasing SCAM

I'm just posting here to report of a new distributor scammer.
This Louis Pappas guy from Arclight releasing is seemingly looking for projects to distribute:

The problem is, the company doesn't seem to exist. They haven't distributed any of the films listed on their website (they posted Pixels and 'The Walk'), the website was created two weeks ago and he won't reply any of my emails when I question about these red flags.

Just make sure to avoid!

That is interesting. I used to work at Arclight Cinemas and to my knowledge they do not have a distribution company, unless they launched it in the last year or so.

Ahh I see. Even that one is not associated with Arclight Cinemas, which is a well-known established theatre chain company. Sounds like Arclight Films is trying to capitalize on a familiar name, assuming they were established later.

I hate distributors who try to create the false appearance of being a big company. I know of a distributor that has a "2nd office" in Miami that I discovered was one of those furnished business office rental spaces. Rent by the day, by the week or whatever. It wasn't a real home office.
