Nobody mentioned what in my opinion is the best film about filmmaking: the documentary Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse.

My favourite is Crimes and Misdemeanours, but there are some suprisingly good films being mentioned in this thread given that a 'film about making a film' is seen as such an over hacked storyline.

How about a film about making a play?

Jesus of Montreal is a great film. Trailer won't sell it, though. Awful trailer.

Somebody recomended the Zombie Girl : The movie .. seems like a fun movie but can't find it anywhere to download .
