Farscape is going ahead with a movie.

The project was announced earlier this year, but there's no word on whether it will be released in the theatres, as opposed to being a TV movie.

Farscape is very interesting to me, because it lasted four seasons, as opposed to ST:TOS' three, and it has a minisodes series on Youtube as well as a movie ("The Peacekeeper Wars"). The minisodes were recut from the series, and they became a sad alternative to a web series that was supposed to lead to a revival of the show. The webisodes were never produced, but the franchise still seems popular.

So the franchise has a loyal fan base, and there is definitely something to go on.
 
Frell yes!

There are some pretty good comic books that take place after the Peacekeeper Wars (Rockne O'Bannon was involved in writing them), but it would be great seeing something on the big screen! Farscape was a show that wasn't afraid to get really, really weird, and I loved it!
