I didn't know where to put this so I figured here. So I don't know if y'all are familiar with SkillsUSA. Well for the past two years I've taken a team to Gold at state, and we just got back from Nationals. Sadly we let down Nevada, we came in 13th but I'd thought I'd post stuff here because this is what got me into film, and Skills has honestly made me who I am. The National Leadership and Skills conference was in Kansas City, Missouri, 5,600 competitors this year, I think a total of 15,000 attendees. Broadcast News Production is what I competed in, team of four. Tech Director, Floor, and two anchors. For secondary and post-secondary/college. Great experience even if you don't win!
